Vision is the ability to identify, interpret and understand what is seen;
eyesight is merely the ability to see. One's eyesight may test normal on standard eye charts, yet visual skills may be seriously impaired.
According to the Better Vision Institute, school eye screenings generally miss
70-80% of children's vision problems. Undetected vision problems may cause a child to dislike reading, resulting in learning difficulties, slow performance or fatigue. Visual problems can cause a child to be labeled as "slow" or even ADD.
Dr. Judy Hughes uses state-of-the-art technology to thoroughly assess the
wide range of vision problems that could be the cause of your child's learning
difficulties.
